Yesterday I had one of those running-around days, so time flew by basically.
I did my rehab training in the morning. This is for my back so I can start lifting weights again. It's actually for people who don't train a lot but wants to start building up their bodies slowly. I'll share my programme in another post.
After that I had a quick lunch at Pascals with Awaz. I had the salmon with lentils that was pretty damn good.
I had to hurry to the Björn Borg headquarters cause I had a meeting with Emma at 13. Before we sat down she showed me coming collection and man... I fell in love with a lot of stuff. I'll see to it that you guys get a sneak peak.
We discussed our coming plans of activities among other things :)
later on I had two my girls from Rinkeby, Kubra and Cansu, coming to train for the first time at Allstars. A couple of weeks ago when I held a class at their school they came up to me after and asked me if they could come watch me train and also do their session.
So I did my grappling session while we're watching with big eyes haha. And efter that they did a Thaiboxing session. I'm so freakin proud. They listen they're focused and they want to learn. And not only do they develop each session, they're doing something that many people do: stepping out of their comfort zones.
It doesn't matter if it's fighting or if you're applying to some difficult course at university or just baking a super advanced cake - to develop and become your greater self you NEED to challenge yourself. When having tried at least you'll know.
MMA and grappling is for ME stepping outside my comfort zone. Kickboxing and Thaiboxing is what I know, what in familiar with.
Going into new sports and doing this professionally, letting go of my other job is a risk. But in the end, I believe the reward is gonna be so much sweeter.
