Green tea is one of my best health tips and it's definitely something that is good to keep in your regular diet!
I drink it especially when I'm on a diet cause it's loaded with antioxidants that boost your metabolism.
Since I'm on a diet now for my first MMA fight I will do various posts about what I eat and HOW I eat. Many of you who are just starting to fight and facing some time dieting before a competition go about dieting in a very bizarre way, resulting in a dangerous weight loss making you weaker than you should be on the day of your fight. On top of that, you make it hard and with disgusting food. No need. I've been there and I've learnt on the way.
Anyways...I drink 3 cups of green tea a day: morning, afternoon and before going to bed!
I have a selection of flavoured green teas at home but my favorite is a plain organic one:
